More Men Choose Laser Hair Removal

The back, neck, chest and abs are popular areas for laser hair removal among men.

For men tired of the scruffy look, laser hair removal is a growing trend. Men account for about 17 percent of the 1.1 million laser hair removal procedures performed in the United States in 2012, a growth of 5 percent from the previous year, the ASPS reported.

For men, popular areas to treat include the front and back of the neck, chest, abs and back. Many of these areas are inconvenient to shave, and waxing is painful and expensive, so more men are choosing permanent hair reduction with laser hair removal.
