What are Fillers?
Fillers do exactly that they fill in areas that have been depleted due to aging or just flat out genetics like having no lips. We carry Juvederm fillers which are hyaluronic acid fillers.
Juvederm Fillers are made by the one and only Allergan USA. In the beginning Allergan only had Juvederm Ultra XC and Ultra plus XC. Ultra XC was used in lips and Ultra Plus XC was used to fill in moderate to severe nasolabial folds, marionette lines and for those who wanted a more plump lip. Juvederm Ultra XC and Ultra plus XC can last around 6-9 months. Allergan in the past few years has developed a New Filler technology called Vycross material. Vycross material meaning it last longer, injects smooth and more easily to mold. Vycross material can also be reversed and biodegradable.
What Juvederm products are Vycross?
Juvederm Volbella for very subtle look. Volbella can be used in smoker/ straw lines, subtle lips, and in tear troughs to decrease dark circles, make you look more refreshed and youthful. Juvederm Vollure for more moderate to severe nasolabial and marionette lines. If you want to have a more plump lip. Juvederm Voluma **Game Changer** Voluma is used in the cheeks. Voluma is the go to product for a mini face lift. Amazing product that takes years off anyone interested in a more youthful appearance. Once volume is added back to your cheeks it actually helps soften the nasolabial. Best product ever.

What to expect after getting fillers?
Some people may have some swelling and slight bruising but will subside in a couple of days. To minimize swelling and bruising you will be sent home with an ice pack and asked to ICE, ICE, ICE. With Volbella, Vollure, and Voluma your injector will mold so there is no need to massage. Is it normal to schedule a follow up? Yes it is. In 2 weeks schedule a follow up and see if a touch up is needed, sometimes if bleeding or swelling occur its best to stop. Come back and inject the rest of the syringe to get desired look.
