Otoplasty

Otoplasty, or ear surgery, seeks to improve the appearance of the ears. The procedure does not affect hearing, but it can have a dramatic benefit for anyone who’s ever disliked, or been teased about, their ears, suffered a serious ear injury, or wants to improve appearance. The most common goals of otoplasty are to set prominent ears closer to the head and to reduce the size of large ears. It’s also possible to construct a new ear for patients who have lost an ear to injury or other causes.
