Chemical Peels
The chemical peel procedure involves the application of a chemical
solution designed to dissolve, smoothen and exfoliate the damaged
outer layer of the skin. Many of the compounds used in chemical
peels are found in nature, such as glycolic acid (of the alpha-hyrdroxy
family), which is derived from certain fruits and plants. It assists
in the skin treatment by stimulating new collagen and skin growth
while causing the dead cells to peel off.
At Amerejuve, we use Glycolic Acid, a natural exfoliator, to remove
the outer layers of thickened or damaged skin, creating a smooth and
healthy fresh appearance.
To combine the benefits of Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels,
choose “Dual Peeling”. Dual Peel provides both treatments during the
same session.
FAQ - Chemical Peels
How long does this procedure take?
Chemical peels take as little as 20 minutes.
How long will the chemical peel results last?
You will need to have a number of treatments (usually a minimum of
3) to see lasting noticeable results. Although chemical peels or any
other exfoliation procedure cannot stop the natural aging process,
if you adhere to the regular chemical peel, microderm or the dual
peel treatments, you will notice slowed aging and long lasting
enhancement of the skin texture in the treated areas.
